CGP Solar is a solar energy company in Cyprus, based in Paphos and working in solar since 2009, with over 500 completed installations across all seven districts of the island. Equipment is available retail and wholesale, and complete systems are installed turnkey — off-grid, grid-tied and hybrid systems, battery storage solutions, and solar water pumps for homes, businesses, and industrial sites.
The priority is matching each client with equipment that performs, at a fair price. Panels, inverters, and batteries come directly from the manufacturers, so there’s no middleman markup on the way to you. Every site is different, so the approach is individual — your requirements, the site conditions, and the details that matter all feed into the design, and we agree the solution together before anything is ordered. From there, the system is built to the parameters and the deadlines agreed with you.
All installations meet the latest standards set by the Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority (CERA). The team also keeps current with local policy and the grants available through the Cyprus Ministry of Energy, so clients can take advantage of the government incentives they’re entitled to.

We worked directly with the EAC to change grid regulations — making microinverter installations legal in Cyprus for the first time. Complex roofs can now go solar.

Most complaints about solar in Cyprus come down to three things: a system that was oversized, one that was undersized, or an installer who never came back. We built the solar company in Cyprus so none of those happen on our jobs.
