What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you visit our Service, register, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, or fill out a form (including our contact forms, quote-request forms, and our website chat widget).

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Mailing/delivery address
  • Billing address
  • Account password (if you create a shop account)

How do we use the information we collect?

  • To respond to your enquiries, quote requests, and consultation bookings
  • To process and fulfil orders, including delivery and installation scheduling
  • To manage EAC grid-connection paperwork on your behalf, where you’ve asked us to
  • To improve our service based on feedback
  • To provide customer support
  • To send you order confirmations, delivery updates, and (where you’ve opted in) our newsletter
  • To measure and improve our advertising, and to show you relevant ads on Facebook/Instagram (see “Facebook Pixel” below)
  • To understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, traffic sources, general usage patterns) using Google Analytics (see below)

How we communicate with you

In addition to email and phone, we offer WhatsApp, Viber, and Facebook Messenger as contact channels via a chat widget on our site. If you message us through one of these channels, your message content and the contact details associated with that platform are also subject to that platform’s own privacy policy (WhatsApp/Messenger: Meta; Viber: Rakuten Viber). We only use what you send us through these channels to respond to your enquiry.

Do we share the information we collect with third parties?

We share personal data only with third parties who help us run the business, specifically:

  • Hosting and site infrastructure — our web host and FlyingPress (performance/caching)
  • Payment processing — PayPal, our bank (for bank transfer and check payments), and, for cash-on-delivery orders, the courier who collects payment on our behalf at the point of delivery. We do not store your full payment card or bank account details ourselves.
  • Delivery/courier partners — to fulfil physical deliveries and, where selected, collect cash-on-delivery payment
  • WhatsApp, Viber, and Facebook Messenger, when you contact us through those channels
  • Google — for the embedded map on our site (Google Maps), reCAPTCHA spam protection on our forms, and Google Analytics (site usage statistics)
  • Meta (Facebook) — via Facebook Pixel, for advertising measurement and retargeting (see below)
  • Manufacturers/suppliers — only where necessary to register or honour a product warranty
  • Authorities — where required by law (e.g. tax authorities, or EAC where you’ve asked us to handle your grid-connection application)

We do not sell your personal data.

Facebook Pixel

We use Facebook Pixel, an analytics and advertising tool provided by Meta Platforms. It allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, understand how visitors use our site after clicking a Facebook/Instagram ad, and show our ads to people likely to be interested in our products and services (including retargeting visitors who’ve browsed our site).

Facebook Pixel works by placing a cookie in your browser and sharing certain data about your visit (such as pages viewed and actions taken) with Meta. Meta’s use of this data is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy. Meta may process this data outside the EEA; per Meta’s own published disclosures, its transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Facebook Pixel is not strictly necessary for the site to function. You can control it by changing your cookie preferences at any time, or by adjusting your ad settings directly on Facebook.

Could my information be transferred to other countries?

We’re based in Cyprus. Some of the third parties above (e.g. Google, Meta, PayPal) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on their compliance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another valid transfer mechanism.

Is the information collected through our service secure?

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including SSL encryption for data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Can I update or correct my information?

Yes. Contact us to (1) update or correct your personal data, (2) change your communication preferences, or (3) request deletion of the personal data we hold about you, subject to our legal obligations (e.g. we must keep certain order/invoice records for tax purposes regardless of a deletion request). We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before making changes.

How long do we keep your information?

  • Order and invoice records:  typically 6–7 years under Cyprus tax/accounting law
  • Contact/quote-request submissions that don’t become an order:  12 months
  • Newsletter subscriber data: until you unsubscribe
  • Chat messages (WhatsApp/Viber/Messenger): retained per that platform’s own rules
  • Facebook Pixel data: retained by Meta per Meta’s own data policy, not controlled by us directly

We only keep personal data for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.

Your rights under GDPR

If you’re in the EU/EEA (or Cyprus specifically), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”), subject to our legal retention obligations
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing and ad targeting
  • Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter, or withdraw marketing-cookie consent for Facebook Pixel via our cookie banner)
  • Lodge a complaint with the Cyprus Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (www.dataprotection.gov.cy), or your own EU member state’s supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We’ll respond within one month, as required by law.

Cookies

We use cookies to operate the site (e.g. shopping cart/session cookies) and for the following purposes:

  • Google reCAPTCHA** — protects our forms from spam/bots
  • Google Maps — powers the embedded map on our site; loading the map may allow Google to set cookies and receive some data from your browser
  • Facebook Pixel — advertising measurement and retargeting (marketing; only loads after you consent via our cookie banner)

You can control or delete cookies via your browser settings, and control marketing cookies specifically via our cookie consent banner at any time. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site (like the shopping cart) from working.

Payment methods and payment details

We currently accept:

  • PayPal — card and PayPal balance payments processed directly by PayPal under their own security standards and privacy policy; we do not see or store your full card details.
  • Bank transfer — you transact directly with your bank; we retain only the transaction reference needed to match your payment to your order.
  • Check payments — accepted by arrangement; we retain the information needed to process and reconcile the check with your order.
  • Cash on delivery — payment is collected in person by our delivery courier at the time of delivery; the courier is given only the information needed to complete delivery and collect payment (name, address, phone, amount due).

Governing law

The laws of Cyprus govern this policy and your use of our Service.

Your consent

By using our Service, registering an account, or making a purchase, you consent to this Privacy Policy.

Our Service may link to other websites we don’t operate or control (including social media and manufacturer sites). We’re not responsible for their content or privacy practices. This policy applies only to our own Service.
