Sinexcel Isuna is the residential energy brand of Sinexcel — a Shenzhen-based power electronics company founded in 2007 and listed on China’s GEM board. Sinexcel Isuna — Single Phase LV

On/off-grid single-phase hybrid inverter with LCD display — 5 to 12 kW

The Sinexcel Isuna single-phase LV hybrid inverter is a compact, wall-mounted on/off-grid system for residential properties with a standard single-phase EAC connection. Five output variants cover 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 kW. All share the same 165mm ultra-thin enclosure with a built-in LCD display for local monitoring — no app required to read system status.

Five output variants cover 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 kW on a 3/N/PE connection at 220/380V or 230/400V. The Sinexcel Isuna 16.07-314-LF-G6 is a 16 kWh, 51.2 V nominal floor-mounted low-voltage residential battery from the new G6 series, built around original CATL lithium iron phosphate cells. What is the difference between the single-phase and three-phase Sinexcel Isuna?

Both models cover 5–12 kW in five variants, use the same SiC platform at 98.2% peak efficiency, have 3 independent MPPTs, 2 battery ports, LCD display, IP65 protection and the same 165mm ultra-thin enclosure. The single-phase (D5K/D6K/D8K/D10K/D12K-SL-S) connects to a standard L/N/PE 220/230/240V EAC connection. The three-phase (D5K/D6K/D8K/D10K/D12K-TL-S) connects to a 3/N/PE 220/380V or 230/400V connection for properties with a three-phase EAC meter. The three-phase model also adds Bluetooth to the communication options and has a higher maximum generator current (36.4A vs 80A single-phase). The right choice depends entirely on your EAC connection type — contact us if you’re unsure.

What does LV (Low Voltage) battery mean and what batteries are compatible?

LV means low voltage battery — the Isuna models accept battery banks operating at 30–60V DC. This covers the most common residential battery formats including 48V lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP), 48V lead-acid, and 48V sodium-ion batteries. Both battery ports accept up to 125A each. The inverter is not locked to a proprietary Sinexcel battery — most major LV battery brands available in Cyprus are compatible. Contact us with your battery brand and we’ll confirm compatibility before recommending the Isuna for your project.

What does 3 independent MPPTs mean in practice?
Each MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker) is an independent solar input that finds and maintains the optimum operating voltage for its connected string. With 3 independent MPPTs, you can connect panels on three different roof faces — for example south, east and west — and each string operates at its own peak efficiency regardless of the others. Partial shade on one string doesn’t reduce the output of the other two. The voltage range is 130–800V with 20A per MPPT, and PV oversizing of 150–200% is permitted — so a 10 kW inverter can accept 15–20 kWp of panels.
 
Can the Sinexcel Isuna work fully off-grid?
Yes — both models are on/off-grid capable from the same unit. In off-grid mode the inverter operates entirely without a grid connection, powered by solar and battery. Off-grid output is single-phase L/N/PE 220/230/240V with less than 10ms switching time from grid to battery. Peak off-grid output is 20 kVA for 10 seconds, which handles motor start-up loads. Up to 6 units can be run in parallel in off-grid mode to increase total system power. For properties in remote locations in Cyprus or islands where grid connection is impractical, the Isuna is suitable as a standalone off-grid system.
 
What does the generator input do?

Both Isuna models have a dedicated generator input port. The inverter accepts a diesel or petrol generator as a secondary input alongside solar and battery. The single-phase model accepts up to 80A generator current; the three-phase model accepts up to 36.4A. The generator voltage range is 185–276V. The inverter manages priority automatically: solar generation first, battery second, generator third when battery falls below a configured threshold. This is relevant for remote properties or agricultural sites in Cyprus where extended power outages occur.

What is the Sinexcel Isuna G6 16 kWh battery?

The Sinexcel Isuna 16.07-314-LF-G6 is the residential battery in the Sinexcel Isuna lineup — separate from the hybrid inverters above and designed to pair with them. It’s a 16 kWh nominal, 51.2 V low-voltage floor-mounted lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery built around original CATL cells. The inverter is what converts DC from solar and battery into AC for your home; the battery stores the energy. Both Sinexcel Isuna hybrid inverter models (single-phase and three-phase) accept this battery on their 30–60 V LV battery port, so you can build a complete single-vendor Sinexcel storage system: solar → Isuna inverter → Isuna 16 kWh battery.

Are the cells inside the Isuna G6 battery really CATL?

Yes. CATL LFP cells with automotive-grade quality, setting industry benchmarks in consistency and stability. The cell specification is 3.2 V / 314 Ah — the large-format prismatic LFP cell used by CATL in stationary storage and EV applications worldwide. CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited) is the world’s largest lithium-ion battery manufacturer.

How long does the Sinexcel Isuna G6 16 kWh battery last?

Sinexcel rates the Isuna 16.07-314-LF-G6 at a 15-year design life at 25 °C ambient temperature and over 7000 charge-discharge cycles to 70% State of Health under rated working conditions. Cycling once per day — typical for residential self-consumption — that’s more than 19 years of cycling before the battery reaches the 70% SOH threshold. LFP chemistry is among the most cycle-stable lithium chemistries in commercial use, which is why these cycle counts are realistic rather than marketing numbers. What is the usable energy and Depth of Discharge of the Isuna G6 battery?

The Sinexcel Isuna G6 is rated for a 0–95% Depth of Discharge. From a 16 kWh nominal capacity, that’s approximately 15.2 kWh of usable energy per unit — meaningfully deeper than the typical 80–90% DoD of competing residential batteries, so you get more usable storage out of the same nominal capacity. At the 190 A continuous discharge current and 51.2 V nominal bus, the battery can deliver approximately 9.7 kW of continuous DC power to the paired inverter — enough to cover a typical Cyprus home’s full evening load.

Can the Sinexcel Isuna G6 battery be installed outdoors in Cyprus?

Yes for water and dust ingress — the cabinet is rated IP66 (fully dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets). The constraint is temperature: operating temperature range is −15 °C to +30 °C. For Cyprus installations, that means direct summer sun on the cabinet should be avoided — shaded outdoor positions, garages, utility rooms or covered carports are ideal. The battery uses natural convection cooling with no fans, so it operates silently and has no moving parts to fail. Cabinet dimensions are 525 × 935 × 297 mm (W × H × D) and weight is 102 kg, so it sits on its own footprint with no wall-loading concerns.

Are the Isuna inverters certified for the European market including Cyprus?

Yes. Both models hold IEC62109-1&2, CE-LVD, CE-EMC, VDE-AR-N 4105, VDE 0126-1-1, EN 50549-1, G98 and G100 certification for European grid connections. Italy-specific CEI 0-21 and Australian AS/NZS4777.2 are also certified. The G98/G100 certification covers UK and the VDE covers Germany. For Cyprus’s EAC grid connection application, CGP Solar handles the submission process.

Is the Sinexcel Isuna G6 battery certified for the European market including Cyprus?

Yes. The Sinexcel Isuna 16.07-314-LF-G6 carries CE (European conformity), IEC 62619 (safety standard for industrial lithium-ion batteries, including stationary energy storage), IEC/EN 61000-6-1 and IEC/EN 61000-6-3 (electromagnetic compatibility — immunity and emissions for residential and light-industrial environments), and UN 38.3 (the UN transport standard required for any lithium battery to be shipped by road, sea or air).
