The solar brands
We stand behind
CGP Solar doesn’t sell everything. We carry premium, Tier 1 solar equipment — the kind that performs in real conditions, not just on a data sheet. Every brand we distribute is one our own installation teams work with across Cyprus.
Quality is not negotiable
We care about quality.
That's the only filter we use.
A lot of solar distributors carry whatever sells. We don’t. CGP Solar is both a distributor and an installation company — which means our engineers work with these products on real projects across Cyprus, day to day. When something doesn’t perform as advertised, we’re the ones who find out first.
The solar brands we carry are ones we’d put on our own homes. That’s a short list — and that’s the point.

SiC-based on/off-grid hybrid inverters with LCD display — for single-phase and three-phase residential properties
Sinexcel Isuna is the residential energy brand of Sinexcel. The products CGP Solar distributes are the Isuna LV hybrid inverter range with built-in LCD display — the single-phase 5–12 kW and the three-phase 5–12 kW. Both are on/off-grid capable, use SiC (silicon carbide) technology for 98.2% peak efficiency, have three independent MPPTs, two battery ports, and IP65 protection in an ultra-thin 165mm enclosure. CGP Solar distributes both Isuna models in Cyprus and ships to professional installers across Europe.

FAQ’s
Most asked questions
about our solar brands
Choosing Between Brands
The most common combinations we install in Cyprus are Akcome/Mingyang HJT panels with a KSTAR BlueSpark ESS, or Akcome/Mingyang panels with an Enphase IQ8 microinverter system and IQ Battery. The right choice depends on whether your property has a single-phase or three-phase connection, the roof orientation, and whether you need off-grid capability. We design the combination during a site survey — there’s no universal answer that works for every property.
Enphase is a microinverter system — each panel has its own inverter, which makes it excellent for shaded or complex rooftops and provides panel-level monitoring. KSTAR BlueSpark is an all-in-one hybrid inverter with integrated battery storage — simpler to install on a straightforward roof and offers more storage capacity per unit cost. Enphase suits homes where shade, orientation or monitoring detail matters most. KSTAR suits homes that want maximum storage capacity and off-grid capability in a single unit. Both are excellent — the site determines the right answer.
Sinexcel Isuna is the right choice when three independent MPPTs matter — for properties with panels on multiple roof faces or complex orientations where each string needs to operate independently. The 98.2% SiC efficiency is competitive with any hybrid inverter in its class. KSTAR BlueSpark is stronger for integrated all-in-one hybrid ESS with CATL batteries included. Schneider XW Pro suits demanding off-grid installations with heavy motor loads requiring 2× surge capability. CGP Solar will specify the right product for your site during the free consultation.
Purchasing & Support
Yes — we supply and install all solar brands we carry with our own teams. You don’t need a separate installer for each brand or to coordinate between multiple suppliers. CGP Solar handles design, supply, installation, commissioning and warranty support across everything we stock. That’s one of the practical advantages of buying from a distributor that also installs.
Yes. All products purchased through CGP Solar come with full manufacturer warranties — 25 years on Enphase IQ8 microinverters, 30-year linear power warranty on Mingyang panels, 5-year product and 10-year performance warranty on KSTAR ESS and batteries. As an authorised distributor, we register products on your behalf and are the warranty contact for Cyprus. Products purchased through unofficial channels can face complications on warranty claims — buying through an authorised distributor avoids this.
The key variables for a well pump are the depth of your borehole, the required water flow rate, and whether you need 24/7 operation or solar-hours only. For a DC solar pump to work correctly, you also need to match the pump’s voltage requirements with the right solar panel array. CGP Solar sizes and recommends Hybsun pumps based on your specific site — contact us with your well depth, required flow and daily usage and we’ll specify the right model.
Solar Panels
HJT (Heterojunction) is a panel technology that layers amorphous and crystalline silicon to achieve higher efficiency and a better temperature coefficient than standard PERC panels and lower degradation. In practical terms: an HJT panel produces more electricity from the same surface area, and loses less output as the panel heats up during a hot day. In Cyprus, where panels regularly reach 60–70°C in summer, the temperature coefficient difference is measurable in real annual yield. Both Mingyang and Akcome panels use HJT technology.
Bifacial panels generate power from both sides — the front from direct sunlight and the rear from reflected light off the ground or roof surface. In Cyprus, the high solar irradiance and often light-coloured roof surfaces (white render, terracotta tile) provide good conditions for rear-side generation. On a typical installation the rear-side gain adds 5–15% additional yield depending on mounting height and the surface below. HJT have superior bifaciality rate up to 90%. Both Mingyang and Akcome HJT panels are bifacial.
System Design
Yes, in most cases. If you already have a grid-tied solar system, adding a KSTAR BlueSpark ESS in AC-coupled configuration allows battery storage to be retrofitted without replacing your existing inverter. If your current system uses Enphase IQ8 microinverters, adding an IQ Battery and IQ System Controller 3 is a straightforward retrofit. The right approach depends on your existing system — contact us with your inverter model and we’ll advise on compatibility and what’s needed.
It depends on your electricity consumption, roof space and whether you’re adding battery storage. As a rough guide, most Cypriot homes consume 5,000–15,000 kWh per year. A 5 kW solar system produces approximately 7,500–10,000 kWh per year in Cyprus — enough to cover a significant portion of average household consumption. For a proper sizing calculation we need your electricity bills and a look at your roof. The consultation is free and we do it before recommending any system.
In most cases, yes. A Hybsun DC solar pool pump runs your pool’s circulation and filtration during daylight hours — exactly when you need it most in summer. The DC model requires no battery and no grid connection; it runs directly from the solar panels. If you need 24/7 circulation, the AC/DC hybrid model switches to grid at night. Running a pool pump 6–10 hours daily during summer adds significantly to electricity bills — a solar pump eliminates that cost during the day.
