30 - year power warranty

Bifacial module ensures 30-year outdoor operation, longer than the conventional type of normally 25 years.

Elegant appearance & high perfomance

An advanced solution that enables more energy generation light capturing and elegant appearance.

Fire Class A

The back of the dual-glass module adopts high transparent glass, which can adapt to all kinds of harsh environment.

N-type hjt technology for lower Lcoe

The lower temperature coefficient and better low irradiance performance of HJT technology can effectively reduce LCOE.

Double-sided power generation, higher income

The dual-glass module has a bifaciality up to 90% and a power generation gain of 7%-30% on the back side.

Temperature coefficient

Temperature coefficient as low as -0.24%.

What are solar panels?

Solar panels are the main component of a solar power plant. They consist of photocells that directly convert the sun’s energy into electricity.

The panel has the following sequence of layers from top to bottom:

  • glass plate;
  • sealing material;
  • photocells;
  • sealing material;
  • protective film or glass.

On the inside, there is a block of input-output devices with electrical contacts for connection.

When choosing a solar panels, the main question is – which solar panels are more efficient?

They are divided into the following varieties:

  • Monocrystalline – whole crystals of highly purified silicon (c-Si) in the form of plates with a size of 300 μm are used as absorbing material, their efficiency is up to 22%;
  • Polycrystalline – are converters with an absorber in the form of silicon crystals with different structure, shape and orientation. The efficiency is within 14-18%;
  • Amorphous silicon –  they have a relatively low efficiency.
Important characteristics of solar panels:

Module efficiency is the main indicator of how much incident light will be converted into electricity. High efficiency of a solar panel is an indicator of good quality. The higher the efficiency, the smaller the area of the panels will be needed to produce the same amount of electricity. To reduce losses and high performance of the entire photovoltaic system, the efficiency of inverters and controllers must be at least 95%.

Rated power output of a panel is a measure that shows how much electricity it can produce under ideal conditions. The power depends on the combination of voltage and current in real time – the best combination of them is called the point of maximum power.

A standard ideal environment – lighting density of 1000 W/m2, module temperature – 25°C, complete absence of wind and a certain spectrum of radiation. In real conditions, the modules will produce, in the best case, about 75-85% of the power from the passport value.

Temperature coefficient of power change – the lower it is, the better. The panel heats up during operation, and its efficiency decreases. The coefficient reflects the effect of panel temperature increase on its performance.

Physical size – when the space on a roof or a plot of land is limited, the height, width and length of a solar panel are very important.

When choosing, you should pay attention to the deviation of the actual power of the photomodule from its nominal value, called power tolerance. It can be both negative and positive – the negative deviation should be slightly more than 3%. But it is better if the deviation is with a “+” sign – in this case, you will not have to overpay for the missing Watts. If several panels are connected in series, the entire chain of devices will operate at the power of the panel that has a negative tolerance.

For example, if in a series connection of 5 solar batteries of 400W each, one will have a power of 3% less, then the devices of the entire circuit will produce only 1940W instead of 2000W.

The best quality, performance and guarantees can be provided by the world’s leading manufacturers with large-scale production and innovative technologies. You can buy solar panels from reliable manufacturers on the CGP Solar website.

How much does a solar panel cost?

The price of a solar panel is determined by the following factors:

  • application of innovative and effective technologies, scientific developments;
    quality of materials;
  • panel type: monocrystalline have the highest price, polycrystalline are slightly cheaper;
  • work performance technologies, in particular soldering and sealing;
  • scale of production;
  • efficiency, power, dimensions.

Solar panels from well-known brands will have a higher cost because:

  • their products are more effective, safe and reliable;
  • they are less prone to the degradation process, more durable;
  • have a higher output power and increased resistance to mechanical loads;
  • provide the best temperature characteristics;
  • have a lower risk of hot spots and a reduced shading effect.

Service life of solar panels

The service life of solar panels guaranteed by manufacturers is 25-30 years. After this period, the panels will continue to produce electricity, but its amount will gradually decrease – on average to 1% every year.

Solar batteries usually work for many decades, if they are made of high-quality materials, professionally installed and were not subject to mechanical damage during operation. Leading brands also guarantee generation and output power level for 10-12 years.

Important factors for the long service life of solar panels are:

  1. Manufacturer. Premium brands guarantee an annual reduction in generation of only 0.3-0.4%. Akcome uses anti-LID and anti-PID degradation reduction technologies.
  2. Solar module type. The service life of monocrystalline panels is 30 years or more. Polycrystalline panels work for more than 20-25 years, amorphous – up to 20 years.
  3. Effective technologies and quality of materials.
  4. Installation quality. The installation must be performed by specialists who have the necessary knowledge and skills in accordance with the technology of the work.
